5. Service Terms

5.1 Service Description

Townvanta Transformations provides van conversion services, transforming standard commercial vans into bespoke mobile living spaces. Our services include design consultation, engineering, construction, and finishing of van interiors according to client specifications.

5.2 Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided by Townvanta Transformations are subject to change based on the final design specifications and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the conversion process. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

5.3 Booking and Deposits

To secure a booking for our services, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total quoted price is required. This deposit confirms your place in our schedule and allows us to begin the design process and order materials specific to your project.

5.4 Payment Terms

Payment for our services is divided into installments as follows:

• 25% non-refundable deposit upon booking
• 25% upon approval of final design and commencement of physical work
• 25% upon completion of core build phase
• 25% final payment upon completion and before handover

All payments must be made according to the schedule provided in your contract. Late payments may result in delays to your project timeline.

5.5 Cancellations and Refunds

If you choose to cancel your project after work has commenced, the following terms apply:

• The initial 25% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• If cancellation occurs after the second payment (50% paid in total), you will be liable for any costs incurred for materials ordered specifically for your project, plus a percentage of labor costs based on work completed.
• If cancellation occurs after the third payment (75% paid in total), no refund will be provided.

5.6 Project Timeline

While we strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeframe, various factors may affect the completion date. We will communicate any significant delays promptly, but we cannot be held liable for reasonable delays in completion.

5.7 Warranty

All van conversions come with a 2-year warranty covering craftsmanship and installed components. This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or neglect
• Modifications made by anyone other than Townvanta Transformations
• Issues arising from failure to follow maintenance guidelines provided at handover

Individual components may be covered by their manufacturers' warranties, which we will pass on to you at project completion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the Website, its content, and any services or items obtained through the Website is at your own risk. The Website, its content, and any services or items obtained through the Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Neither Townvanta Transformations nor any person associated with Townvanta Transformations makes any warranty or representation with respect to the completeness, security, reliability, quality, accuracy, or availability of the Website. Without limiting the foregoing, neither Townvanta Transformations nor anyone associated with Townvanta Transformations represents or warrants that the Website, its content, or any services or items obtained through the Website will be accurate, reliable, error-free, or uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components, or that the Website or any services or items obtained through the Website will otherwise meet your needs or expectations.

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
